The Return of the King

"The Return of the King" is a 1980 American animated musical fantasy television film, serving as a sequel to "The Hobbit." The film adapts the third and final volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's 1955 novel "The Lord of the Rings," titled "The Return of the King." The first two parts of Tolkien's original work—"The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers"—are not depicted in this film and are only briefly summarized at the beginning.
