At the turn of the century, people in the solar calendar world are tirelessly hunting bugs, making life very difficult for the Millennium Bug, so it decides to hatch another wicked plan. Taking advantage of the Zodiac Rabbit stepping down and the Zodiac Dragon taking over, the Millennium Bug steals the miniature sundial—the very time control center of the Zodiac Kingdom. Rabbit Girl and Kart Dragon are frantic, while the computer whiz kid Pipi surfs the internet to help them track the bug's trail. With the help of the Crazy Mouse, the three good friends bravely venture into the computer world. Meanwhile, the Millennium Bug has already gathered elite computer viruses from around the globe, launching a fierce invasion of the Zodiac Kingdom with overwhelming momentum, aiming to become the ruler of the lunar calendar world. Pipi calls in a human anti-virus team to rescue the unfortunate Kart Dragon and Rabbit Girl from the clutches of the viruses. A century-spanning battle between humans and bugs unfolds before the gates of the Zodiac Kingdom. But just then, having absorbed the millennium's energy, the Millennium Bug transforms into a colossal monster insect. As the New Year bell tolls, the kingdom's gates swing open, and the lunar calendar world teeters on the brink of destruction...
