One year after Bas sank to the bottom of the sea, he was rescued by his loyal subordinate, Quark. A new Beyblade tournament begins, with the prize being the Gene Block. In order to obtain the Gene Block, Bas forms the Meteor Team to battle the Power Breakers. The Power Breakers face off against top fighters from various countries on the Island of Trials. Bas's new team members are incredibly powerful, forcing the Power Breakers to give their all in the fight. In the end, the Power Breakers make the Meteor Team see the light and defeat Bas, sealing him away once more.
