SHAN SHAN

This film is adapted from my own experiences. It tells the story of how, after cutting my hair short as a child, I was consistently treated as a boy by those around me. Growing up, I struggled to come to terms with my own gender and identity. After a long period of exploration, I finally found peace. I hope everyone can reconcile with themselves, love themselves, and attain true freedom.
