After much hardship, the Star Cat team finally gathers all twelve companions, defeats the minions of the Black Demon King one by one, and arrives at the Black Demon King's underground labyrinth city. Just as Star Cat mocks the Black Demon King, claiming he must have run out of tricks, the labyrinth city begins to move. The group is separated by the constant shifting. The twelve warriors and Star Cat each discover in their isolated compartments the things they fear most or wish to escape from the most. It turns out that the entire labyrinth is a giant monster that manipulates the fears within their hearts. The Black Demon King is found by the group. Star Cat and his companions are both nervous and triumphant, ready to destroy the Black Demon King. Everyone unleashes their ultimate moves, but each has their own thoughts and acts independently, attacking chaotically. Although the Black Demon King is injured, it is not enough to destroy him; instead, he is enraged and transforms into a Dark Giant. Everyone is knocked unconscious by the Dark Giant, teetering on the brink of death.
