In such circumstances, the mysterious old man, Yoshimune, worries about the future of Earthlings in the sport. Therefore, under very favorable conditions, he plans to form a team composed of the strongest Earthlings, with the goal of dominating the Universal League. To realize this plan, scouts dispatched to search for talent across the world appear in the humble streets where the protagonist, Hideyoshi, lives. With his outstanding speed and jumping ability, Hideyoshi becomes a member of the Earth selection team and, alongside other uniquely talented teammates—the strongest Earthlings—aims to enter the "Universal Alliance." Thus, the story unfolds.... The term "Buzzer Beater" originates from the NBA court, referring to a player who makes a "buzzer-beater" shot just before the final buzzer sounds.
