The Mitchells vs. The Machines

Katie Mitchell, a quirky and creative individual, has been accepted into her dream film school. She originally planned to fly to campus, but her nature-loving father, Rick, decides to drive the whole family to drop Katie off at college, hoping to strengthen their family bond before she leaves. Alongside Katie and Rick, the Mitchell family includes the optimistic mother Linda, the eccentric younger brother Aaron, and their adorable, chubby pug Monchi. They embark on an exciting family road trip. However, an unexpected event occurs: smart technology suddenly revolts against humanity, completely disrupting the Mitchells' plans. The electronic devices people use most frequently—from phones to home appliances, and even a range of the latest personal robots—turn against them.
