Graduation Project of the [Film, Television, and Animation Design Studio], Class of 2020, School of Visual Art and Design, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts The film primarily tells the story of a cheerful girl who helps a melancholic and withdrawn boy overcome his inner struggles through the art of origami. By combining two-dimensional characters with three-dimensional environments, the short film achieves greater depth and luminosity while preserving the vivid expressiveness of the two-dimensional figures. It is hoped that viewers will not only feel the sincere friendship between the boy and the girl but also come to understand that even if we are imperfect and flawed, we will always encounter people who understand and accept us.
