Ali discovers that many people in this world, despite having grown up, have lost their childlike innocence, becoming confused, numb, and lonely. Through his experiences and adventures, Ali helps them regain their confidence. Along the way, he helps a gluttonous hamster rediscover its place and value, and assists a scavenging goblin in collecting stars and returning them to the sky. Ali, along with Peach and Big Bear, accidentally stumble into a mysterious chessboard, where they use wisdom and courage to defeat the proud White Chess Queen. Ali helps a grumpy gentleman who has lost his partner to rediscover lost love and memories. In the town's theater, Ali learns that a marionette dreams of becoming a dancer, and he encourages it to bravely pursue its true self without fear of failure. In the end, the marionette is blessed by fate.
