Premier Automne

What if your beloved lives in a world opposite to yours? Then... a boy named "Winter," who lives in the world of winter, encounters a girl named "Summer," who resides in the world of summer. However, this is not a sweet and unforgettable innocent love; instead, it is a fate where two people are destined to meet but cannot stay together. Winter tentatively touches the back of Summer's hand, only to accidentally cause the death of Summer's puppy. As Winter continues to approach Summer, her world rapidly crumbles and disintegrates, filled with terrifying scenes of ice and snow. Summer's living space grows smaller and smaller, and Winter finally understands everything. When Winter waves goodbye, Summer reluctantly runs to his side and grasps his hands. Yet, who could have known that Winter's world is slowly being invaded and destroyed. 　　This animated work from the French animation studio Je Regarde tells a poignant and beautiful love story that can never be touched for eternity. The French title of the film, "Premier Automne," means "First Autumn." However, the girl representing summer and the boy representing winter exist in two incompatible, opposite worlds. In the story of "Winter" chasing "Summer," there is only an unreachable sense of helplessness and regret.
