In the bustling city, a clicking sound approaches from afar. A white-collar worker, carrying a briefcase, is completely absorbed in playing with his phone, head down. He brushes past a woman in a dress, accidentally pulling off her skirt, and then bumps into a utility pole. Unaware that she is now only in her underwear, the woman continues playing with her phone as she walks into a café, where she sits down and accidentally crushes a cat on the chair, also injuring the person behind her. The entire city is eerily quiet, with no one making loud noises, yet it is far from peaceful. People are obsessed with the tiny virtual world in their palms—a doctor mistakenly injects a patient, a firefighter fails to save a person attempting suicide by jumping from a building, an elderly man accidentally causes his grandson’s death and is then impaled by a worker carrying an elevator, and a young woman ignores someone in distress, instead eagerly taking photos with corpses and accident scenes.
What a strange world, where everyone is bowing their heads, becoming prisoners of their phones...
