"Battle Spirits: Wheel of Destiny" is a sci-fi anime that follows the extraordinary journey of introverted fourth-grader Li Haoyi in the machine-populated nation of Wheel Star. Legend has it that there exists a planet called Wheel Star, located a full 1,000 light-years away from Earth. On Wheel Star, countless Wheelians reside. It is said that these Wheelians travel vast distances to Earth in search of partners among all the children who love playing Wheel Shooting. The story fully unfolds when a fire-type Wheelian named Flare chooses a fourth-grade elementary student—Li Haoyi—as his partner... Throughout the competitions, Haoyi and Flare gradually forge a deep friendship and meet many companions: Dolly and Mystic Water, Theo and Divine Wood, Yafei and Golden Horn, Sichen and Earth Rock... Each of them successively obtains sacred armaments in the battles.
