La belle et la boîte

Since ancient times, knights have been the embodiment of courage and justice. Clad in armor, mounted on warhorses, and wielding long spears, they charge against all evil and tyranny with indomitable spirit. In countless legends, they are naturally the ideal heroes to rescue damsels in distress. This story is no exception. Our protagonist, Sir Knight, hears a distant cry for help—a beautiful princess has been captured by an evil demon, and her life is in peril. Without delay, the knight mounts his steed and charges toward the demon's palace. Along the way, he faces numerous hardships and dangers, even encountering a vicious and savage three-headed beast (Cerberus) blocking his path. Yet, all of this is but a fleeting cloud to the knight, for his heart holds only one goal: to rescue the beautiful, yet... utterly clueless Princess. This film won the Best Short Film award at the 1982 Ottawa International Animation Festival.
