The World of Stainboy

A pitiful "Stainboy," who finds no peace even as a "ghost," is constantly ordered by the hellish tyrant who rules over death to search for new sources of corpses. Time after time, Stainboy drags back a girl who gave him a spark—killed by a falling lamp; drags back a poisoner and the rat he poisoned; drags back a pile of dead bowling balls; and even drags back a killing machine that he himself destroyed. Finally, he gets a chance to be reincarnated, but his birth brings his parents such ghostly agony that they are horrified. In the end, he meets death once more and returns to the side of the hellish tyrant who rules over death, where what naturally awaits him is the dreadful cycle all over again.
