"Mobius Ring" is China's first 3D digital animated film, a fantasy-themed animated feature produced by Shenzhen IDMT. It was released on August 4, 2006. The film took five years to produce with an investment exceeding 130 million RMB, yet it only earned 3.4 million RMB at the box office. The film received a nomination for Best Animated Feature at the 25th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Awards.
