The Secret Life of Pets

In a bustling apartment building in New York City, there lives a group of pets whose daily lives transform into a playground the moment their owners leave for work and before they return home. Some venture out to play with other pets; some gather to exchange stories about their owners' embarrassing moments; others tirelessly groom themselves to look cuter, hoping to score more treats from their owners... In short, the pets' "nine-to-five" hours are the freest and most enjoyable part of their day. Among these pets, a spirited terrier named Max stands out as the natural leader. Clever and adorable, he believes he is the center of his owner's life—until she brings home a lazy, unruly mongrel named Duke. Max and Duke have completely different outlooks on life and values, making peaceful coexistence nearly impossible. But when they find themselves lost together on the streets of New York, the two must set aside their differences and join forces to stop a discarded pet rabbit named Snowball.
