In a remote, sparsely populated mountainous area lies a small farm, home to the farm owner couple and a robust shepherd. Their lives follow a regular and unchanging routine: the owners milk cows, cook, tend to the animals, and prepare feed, never finding a moment of rest. While the owners worry about the drought, the cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, and dogs—all kinds of livestock—join together to create a lively farm symphony.
One day, a group of tourists and hunters shatters the tranquility of this place. Civilization intrudes upon the mountain farm, treating it entirely as a scenic spot. As the hunters gleefully slaughter the wild beasts in the mountains, they inadvertently awaken a slumbering giant bear. The farm owners, already troubled by water shortages, are now disturbed incessantly by the chaos...
This film was nominated for the Best Animated Short Film Award in 1990.
