Humdrum

Two Scottish men are bored at home with nothing to do, finding no interest in television or radio. Just as they are growing restless, an annoying little dog comes along to cause trouble. Eventually, they come up with the idea of playing a shadow-guessing game... 　　This film has won the Children's Jury Award at the 1998 Chicago International Children's Film Festival, the Best Animated Film Award at the 2000 Cinequest San Jose Film Festival, an Honorable Mention from the Youth Jury and Third Place for Best Animated Film at the 1999 Dresden Film Festival in Germany, the Best British Animated Film Award at the 1998 Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Special Animation Award at the 1999 Newport International Film Festival in the United States, the Best Animated Short Film Award at the 1999 Ourense Independent Film Festival, and the Silver Spider Award for Best Short Film at the 1999 Valladolid International Film Festival in Mexico.
