A life in a box
In a person's life, happiness is always fleeting, confined to just a few stages. For most of the time, life is like a canned good, fixed in a predetermined pattern.
Reflecting on the stages of happiness, one is during childhood when one possesses dreams. However, a child cannot linger in dreams forever; the voices of parents press upon them, forcing them to shuttle back and forth only between school and home. In youth, love brings joy, but when it comes to marriage, the pattern inevitably sets in. The birth of a child is also a happy occasion, yet a dull life does not become interesting because of it. People often attempt to fill this dullness with affairs, only to end up returning to the two-point-one-line existence for the sake of their children.
