Manipulation

In the room, an animator is working at his animation desk. He quickly sketches the head of a cartoon character, hesitates for a moment as if dissatisfied with his work, then pushes the cartoon character aside and starts over. This time, he decides to begin with the character's feet, and soon a headless figure is created, but he quickly dismisses this idea as well. As he prepares to draw again, he accidentally knocks over the paint palette and is about to discard the drawing paper. Unexpectedly, the abandoned cartoon character's head and body merge together on their own. Unwilling to be discarded, the little figure runs onto the animation desk, followed by the spilled paint, which chases closely after the cartoon character, leading to a pursuit and struggle. Witnessing this scene, the animator immediately intervenes to stop the chaos, taking control of the little figure. But the little figure refuses to be manipulated, and a fierce battle begins... This film won the 1992 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
