Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

In the near future, a financial crisis sweeps across the United States, causing unemployment and crime rates to soar. Major cities erupt in protests and riots. Lex Luthor, who has always opposed superheroes, transforms himself into a presidential candidate. He adopts tough measures to suppress the unrest and promises voters a bright future, ultimately achieving his goal of becoming the President of the United States. Upon taking office, Luthor strengthens state centralization, recruiting super-soldiers such as Captain Atom, Black Lightning, Power Girl, and Katana to his side, amassing unprecedented influence. However, Superman and Batman remain wary of Luthor's methods and refuse to cooperate with him. Meanwhile, an asteroid approaches Earth. Luthor meets with Superman under the pretext of joining forces to stop the asteroid, but instead sends Metallo to attack him. After a fierce battle, Superman narrowly escapes with Batman's help, while Metallo is mysteriously killed, leading Luthor to frame Superman for the crime. Once a revered superhero, Superman suddenly becomes a public enemy...
