This art film is a puppet animation. The story, being widely known, offers no novelty; the film's charm today lies in the vivid and lively character designs. 　　 An envoy from India presents an elephant to Cao Cao. Cao Chong, who is playing alone in the garden, is called by a servant to see the elephant. While everyone is amused by the elephant's clumsy antics, Cao Cao asks the envoy about the elephant's weight. The envoy recalls that the weight is recorded on the gift list and hurriedly searches for it, but temporarily forgets where he placed it. Cao Cao's generals, such as Xu Chu, volunteer to weigh the elephant, but their clumsy methods lead to great embarrassment. At this moment, Cao Chong says he has a way to weigh the elephant, and everyone turns their skeptical gazes toward him.
