During his voyage in the South Seas, Gulliver encountered a violent storm and drifted at sea for several days. When he regained consciousness from his coma, he realized with alarm that his limbs and body were tightly pinned to the ground—he had become a captive of the tiny people of Lilliput. Thus, Gulliver stepped in to resolve the dispute between the two nations and helped the princess and her beloved fulfill their lifelong union.
