Free Birds

Reggie (voiced by Owen Wilson), a blue-headed turkey, is a unique and unconventional bird. He is acutely aware of the fate that he and his kind share upon entering this world: to become the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving dinner table. He has repeatedly warned his fellow turkeys of this grim reality, but they remain oblivious, treating their captors as friends and even believing that being taken away by the farmer will lead to a heavenly life. When another Thanksgiving arrives, Reggie unexpectedly becomes the turkey pardoned by the President and is whisked away to live a life of luxury and carefree joy with the First Family. Until one day, Reggie—who had long forgotten his naive brethren—is kidnapped by a turkey named Jake (voiced by Woody Harrelson), who claims to be from the "Free Turkey Front." Jake takes Reggie on a journey through time via a time machine, traveling back to the very first Thanksgiving in an attempt to alter the tragic fate of their species. Faced with an extraordinary and seemingly impossible mission, can these two turkeys change the course of history...
