In a tranquil and peaceful town in South America, a young boy named Amadeo (voiced by Rupert Grint) is obsessed with table football at the local bar. His exceptional skills win the heart of a girl named Laura (voiced by Eve Ponsonby) and defeat the arrogant teenager, Grosso (voiced by Diego Ramos). Years pass, and the children grow up, but Amadeo remains unchanged in his love for table football. Even as Laura prepares to leave for studies elsewhere, he struggles to find the right words to express himself. One day, Grosso, now an international football star, suddenly returns with great fanfare. He buys the town and plans to build a luxurious cosmic stadium there. Ignoring the objections of the townspeople, Grosso first demolishes the bar that once brought him humiliation and takes Laura away. Amadeo weeps bitterly, but to his surprise, the wooden captain of his table football team suddenly comes to life. Facing these old comrades he has fought alongside for years, Amadeo seems to muster the determination to save Laura and the town... This film is adapted from Roberto Fontanarrosa's short story "Memorias de un wing derecho."
