Red's Dream

This short film was screened on July 10, 1987, at SIGGRAPH (the premier annual conference on computer graphics) in Anaheim, California, and has never been included as a bonus feature on any Pixar home release. On the circus stage, a clown performs a juggling act while riding a red unicycle. The little red unicycle moves nimbly, "quick-eyed and deft-handed," proving to be an excellent assistant. However, the clown gradually realizes that this assistant is too professional—all the spotlights shift to the little red unicycle, making it the star of the juggling show. Amidst the audience's attention, the performance concludes perfectly, greeted with thunderous applause, and the little red unicycle becomes a celebrity. But as the old saying goes, star dreams are fragile...
