The story takes place in Arcadia, once known as paradise. But now, that land is increasingly plagued by monsters called Thanatos. As Thanatos bring immense destruction, people cling to an ancient legend in these dark times. In Arcadia, two major powers coexist: the Celestia Order, which has long valued tradition, and the Artifact Foundation, which prioritizes technology. Arcadia has now entered an era of turmoil. The protagonist, Angelique, is a girl who lost her parents to the Thanatos monsters and studies diligently in hopes of becoming a doctor. Before this girl appears a young man who calls her the "Queen's Egg." Together with this somewhat forceful young man, Angelique is drawn into the battle against Thanatos.
