An alien named ZIM, who wants to conquer Earth, disguises himself as a human, and only a paranoid child named Dib Membrane knows the secret. The series first aired in the United States and the Philippines on March 30, 2001. 　　Zim is a child from an alien planet—more precisely, an invader—but unbeknownst to him, he was exiled by his home planet and unwittingly ended up on Earth... 　　Living on Earth as an elementary school student, although he is an invader, he hardly ever engages in any actual invasion activities... (In fact, in the episodes I’ve seen, he saved Earth twice = =") 　　On top of that, he has to deal with constant interference (or what seems like harassment) from his nemesis, Dib. Dib is the only Earthling who knows Zim is an alien, but since he’s just a kid, no one believes him. 　　Zim and Dib are enemies (or perhaps a pair of clowns) who attend the same school and are in the same class, constantly disrupting each other... in comedic ways. 　　The structure of *Invader Zim* is somewhat similar to *PPG (The Powerpuff Girls)*, with two episodes airing in a 30-minute block, each about 12 minutes long, so nearly every episode is packed with humor....
