YOASOBI's new song "Stage ni Tatte" (Take the Stage), written as the "NHK Sports Theme 2024," was released today on the opening day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Created as the "NHK Sports Theme 2024," the song is an uplifting guitar rock tune composed with the image of the conflicts and soaring emotions athletes face. It is a track that offers encouragement not only to athletes but to anyone in a situation where they must gather the courage to take that first step. For the song's production, three manga artists active in Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+"—Taizan 5, Yuki Kijima, and Hiru Shita Haruno—were commissioned to create sports-themed works. Based on the completed manga, Jun Esaka authored a novel, and the song was then produced using these works as the original source material.
