The animated series "X-Men: Evolution" premiered in November 2000 on the WB network in the United States and concluded in October 2003, spanning 4 seasons with a total of 52 episodes. In China, China Record Warner introduced and released DVDs and VCDs for parts of Seasons 1 and 2 in 2005 under the title "Super Warriors." Produced by Marvel, "X-Men: Evolution" largely stays true to the original comics, with the main characters—aside from Professor X and Wolverine—portrayed as teenagers. Led by Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men team, composed of mutants (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Spyke, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Storm, and Wolverine), fights to protect a world that fears them. Before becoming X-Men, these superheroes were just ordinary teenagers... or so it seems. These mutants possess a variety of superpowers, turning even an ordinary high school football game into a battle between good and evil! Faced with unprecedented trials and challenges, these exceptionally gifted teens must not only fit in with their peers but also save the world. Watch as Cyclops, Rogue, Jean Grey, and the other young X-Men confront evil forces and the challenges of school life.
