The third installment of the Full Metal Panic series, "Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid," is a youthful drama blending comedy, combat, romance, and friendship. The story and characters continue from the previous two works, with the protagonist still being Sousuke Sagara. The battlefield shifts to Hong Kong, where the highly popular character Tessa's brother, Leonard, finally makes his appearance. He challenges Sousuke with his new Arm Slave, further complicating the relationships among the characters. His involvement transforms the original love triangle between Sousuke, Kaname, and Tessa into a tangled quadrangle. Additionally, three new antagonists are introduced: a beautiful assassin and the two sisters, Xia Yulan and Xia Yufang, who appear as disciples of Gauron.
