In a sun-drenched village, the air is filled with the fragrance of earth. The cheerful Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) and his good partner, the calf Horace, are plowing the field, their joyful melody drifting with the wind. At this moment, the beautiful girl Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner) and her charming, alluring little cow Clarabelle appear with proud strides along the field ridges. Naturally, both Mickey and Horace are captivated by these beauties. Minnie seems to play the piano and sing as if no one else is around, prompting Mickey to drop his work and rush over to help her milk the cow. However, Clarabelle appears to be more fond of Mickey, repeatedly flirting and showing affection toward him, much to the annoyance of this boy who is infatuated with Minnie... In this short, Horace makes his first appearance in the Mickey series, while Clarabelle appears for the second time.
