Pahlavan Mahmood Qatali Kharazmi, also known as Pouria Vali, is a renowned Iranian poet, mystic, and athlete. He is a blacksmith and the master of the city's "Zurkhaneh" (traditional gymnasium). A respected and trusted figure, he is deeply beloved by the people. Set in the 13th and 14th centuries, he resides in Kharazm, an ancient city of Khorasan. The story follows his resolute stand and struggle against the city's villain—the savage, greedy, and ambitious Eskandar Khan—with the wisdom and aid of his disciples: Pahlavan Yavar, Pahlavan Safi, and Pahlavan Mofrad.
