A famished cat roaming the wastelands spots a sign reading, "Ma's Place / Home Cooking / 3 Miles." The cat dashes toward the town, completely missing the other sign that says, "Ghost Town / Population 100 Ghosts." Among these ghosts is a mouse, burning with a desire for vengeance against cats who tormented him in his past life. This clueless cat becomes the perfect target, and the ghostly mouse immediately sets out to haunt the hungry feline.
