On the desolate plains of Mexico, the cheerful traveler Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) rides forward on his pony. Soon, he arrives at a small tavern. The tavern's hostess, Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner), sits at the bar singing a joyful tune. Mickey dances along to the song, but his recklessness annoys Minnie. Enraged, she throws glasses and plates at him. To calm the young lady's anger, Mickey jumps in front of the piano and strikes up a lively melody once more.
