The third season was announced during "Ani×Wara" vol.6 in November 2016 and began airing in January 2017. The title is "Choboraunyopomi Gekijou Ai Mai Mii ~Surgical Friends~". In December 2016, a "Program Promotion Special" commemorating the decision for the third season aired on AT-X and other channels.
