In the near future, technical diver couple Ina and Claude join the crew of an underwater drilling station on a mission to halt a catastrophic oil spill. Isolated from the world and working under extreme conditions, the station's doctor becomes infected by a parasitic worm. One by one, the crew falls prey to this tapeworm, which amplifies its host's most extreme impulses, feeding on their endorphins like an emotional vampire.
