A world where wolves are said to have been extinct for 200 years. In this world, most of the land is covered by wastelands, and many residents live in poverty. In reality, wolves have not completely vanished; some have managed to survive. They appear in human form, blending into human society and coexisting with humans. Kiba is one such wolf, whose goal is to find the legendary paradise. Along the way, Kiba encounters Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, forming a pack as they journey together toward paradise... "Wolf's Rain" consists of 30 episodes in total, which aired on Fuji TV in 2003. Initially, the production was planned for 26 episodes, with the remaining 4 episodes released as OVAs from January to February 2004.
