The manga original tells the story of the founders of two major religions, Buddhism and Christianity—Buddha and Jesus—who, after surviving the end of the world, take a vacation in the human realm. They rent an apartment together in Tokyo and live their daily lives. The plot mostly revolves around their interactions with modern society and various elements drawn from Buddhist and Christian themes.
