The legendary Lolicon anime "Kurenai," which aired and sparked discussions in 2008, is about to release a new animation! Unfortunately, the new work is not a TV series but an OVA. The OVA will be released simultaneously with the fifth volume of the manga, set to go on sale on July 2nd. "Kurenai" is a light novel written by Kentarō Katayama and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. The author also won the 3rd Super Dash Novel Newcomer Award from Shueisha for this work. The setting and characters of this series are connected to the author's other work, "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko," making it a sister series. The story follows high school freshman Kurenai Shinkurō as he lives with the young heiress Kūhōin Murasaki, reflecting the author's "Lolicon Delusion Syndrome."
