Based on the original work by Ayumi Tachihara, a unique manga artist who has long been active and highly successful in both the shoujo manga and yakuza manga genres. 　Jin Kambayashi, a member of the violent Sandagawa-gumi yakuza syndicate, is a rough-around-the-edges but fundamentally pure-hearted young punk. One day, he encounters Yoshiro Yazaki, a former sect activist and University of Tokyo graduate who later became an elite banker. Initially, Jin targets Yoshiro by mistake, attempting to take his life. However, this encounter becomes the catalyst for the two to recognize each other's courage and sharp intellect. Trusting in the qualities the other possesses that they themselves lack, they join forces and begin their ruthless climb to the top of the underworld. 　This work was planned and produced following the favorable reception of the OVA series "Majime!" by Nichiei Agency, which is based on works by the same author. The actual animation production was handled by J.C.STAFF.
