"Delicacies of Molten Horror Synapse" is a dialogue-free short film directed by American filmmaker Stan Brakhage, released in the United States on April 11, 2004, with a runtime of 10 minutes. The film is created using four layers of superimposed hand-painted television negative footage. Through the editing of biomembrane television negative images, it simulates the physiological process of the visual nerve resisting abnormal infusion of luminous light sources during pre-sleep hallucinations, metaphorically presenting the television set as the core image of "molten horror." The director employs superimposed television imagery processed with biomembrane techniques to form a unique visual language system.
