In the year 1998 after the Great Union, the Human Alliance had just mastered interstellar travel technology. No longer able to endure the loneliness from the cosmos, they launched a massive space exploration initiative called the "No Return Project." It was not for war, nor for resources, but solely to prove that humanity was not the only life in the universe. The short film's story takes place on an oceanic planet named "DK-3: Cyan Giant."
