A direct-to-video (OVA) adaptation of the sequel to the anime of the same name broadcast on UHF stations. In a near-future Earth threatened by cosmic dangers such as meteors and asteroids, Meteor Sweeper (Comet Interception Unit) pilot Honjo Mifune, alongside her comrades Kikuhara Karin, Nakamura Sayune, and Doi Shizuba, is tasked with defending the planet and achieves great success in battle. Afterwards, the four return to their regular duties and, as veterans, are assigned to mentor new recruits Kiriko, Mirei, and Mana. However, they find themselves entangled in the problems the newcomers cause one after another, while also getting caught up in suspicious, sinister conspiracies. What will become of Stratos 4!?
