AVALON is a land filled with magical enchantments. Princess Starla (Sun Stone), living in the Crystal Palace, along with the Jewel Riders, Will (Moon Stone) and Tamara (Heart Stone), are students of the great wizard Merlin. Each girl has her own unicorn: Sunstar, Moondance, and Shadowsong (who appears in the second season). Starla's Aunt Kale wants to seize the throne and rule AVALON. Using an uncalibrated wizard's jewel, she transports Merlin into the Wild Magic, and when the Jewel Box containing the kingdom's stabilizing gems is opened, all the jewels scatter back to their original discovery sites! The magic across all of AVALON becomes unstable, so the Jewel Riders, with the help of the Wolf Pack (Forest Stone), set out to find the lost gems. In the second season, a new enemy emerges: Morgana, who collaborates with Kale to seize the wizard's jewels...
