The stories in "Toy Story" are always lighthearted and humorous, but this time is completely different. The toy friends accidentally end up at a roadside motel, and a nightmare descends upon them unexpectedly. After one of the toys mysteriously disappears, a series of other mysterious events persistently haunt them. The toys realize they might very well face the same fate, so, in order to prevent further tragedies, they must take action. 　　 This special, planned to be around half an hour in length, will premiere during next year's Halloween season and is expected to air on ABC (American Broadcasting Company), Disney Channel, and other Disney-affiliated channels.
