After the great war in Headmasters concluded, Earth enjoyed a period of peace. However, this tranquility did not last long, as the Decepticons lurking on Earth became active once again. Thus, Autobot Bullet, who had gradually integrated into human society, took up arms once more. Led by Hawk (Metal Hawk), they fought against the Decepticons commanded by two humans, Giga and Mega. In the later stages, the Autobot commander was succeeded by a young truck driver named Ginrai. In the final battle, the Autobots successfully defeated the mastermind behind the war, Devil Z. After Devil Z's death, a substance was released, causing the Godmasters and the Junior Headmasters to separate from their mechanical bodies. These mechanical bodies then became Transformers with independent consciousness. In pursuit of the Decepticons fleeing Earth, the Transformer Ginrai led the Autobots away from the planet.
