Many years ago, a young Danish poet named Kaj Gundersen suddenly lost his inspiration, which troubled him greatly. One day, while reading the novel "Kristin Lavransdatter" by the Norwegian author Sigrid Undset in a library, Kaj was deeply impressed by her literary talent and decided to travel to Norway to visit the writer in search of inspiration. He stayed at a farm owned by a distant relative of Sigrid's, where he met a beautiful girl named Ingeborg. The two young people fell deeply in love. However, Ingeborg's father had already promised her hand in marriage to a coarse and unattractive boy, forcing Kaj to part from his beloved and return to Denmark with endless sorrow. Time passed, years flew by, and Ingeborg in Norway and Kaj far away in Denmark longed for each other, always waiting for the day they would meet again... This film won the 2007 79th Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
