This is an animated film with a strong Disney style, telling the story of a mysterious kingdom and its king, Kuzco, in the towering mountains of South America. The young Kuzco is arrogant and self-centered, a very "busy" man. He becomes suspicious of his advisor, Yzma, and demotes her. At the same time, he is preoccupied with building a summer palace to celebrate his birthday. Little does he know that this will lead to the destruction of a village in his kingdom. Meanwhile, Yzma is plotting a grand scheme, waiting for the right moment to exact revenge and seize the throne.
