"Tainá e os Guardiões da Amazônia" is an environmentally-themed adventure animated series co-produced by Brazil's TV Cultura and France's Cyber Group Studios, first premiering in multiple South American countries in 2023. The series centers on Tainá, a 12-year-old indigenous girl, who forms a guardian alliance with three animal companions—the agile capuchin monkey Catu, the wise king vulture Pepe, and the timid hedgehog Suri. Together, they explore the ecological mysteries of the Amazon rainforest and work to resolve environmental crises. The animation combines 3D modeling with hand-painted watercolor backgrounds, transforming elements of the rainforest ecosystem—such as symbiotic plants and food webs—into visual puzzle-solving components. It has been recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme as an "immersive textbook for children's ecological education."
